Julie uses her Art History degree to teach math. By a twist of fate, she found herself at DefCon 26 (And The Diana Initiative!), and picked up a whole slew of new obsessions. In her spare time, she enjoys learning to code in Java, C++, and JavaScript, hurling herself at TryHackMe rooms, soldering things and failing to de-solder other things, escape rooms, crypto challenges, losing herself for hours in CTFs, and teaching herself networking basics. Her go-to app to waste time on her phone is a subnetting practice site. She enjoys attempting to pass on these obsessions to her students and her kiddo.
