From classrooms to whiteboard sessions and teachers to layers of management—a career in cybersecurity is vastly different than where traditional education has led us. In 2018, we transitioned from being computer science students to working full-time in cybersecurity. During this talk, we'll be sharing what worked for us, what didn't, and what we learned along the way. In this collaborative presentation, we want to showcase multiple paths for breaking into this industry, and audience participation is highly encouraged.
